Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026. Last updated October 8, 2026.
Matova LC ("Matova," "we," "us") runs matovagroup.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the site and by email, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can: the site has no advertising trackers, and we never sell your information.
1. What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you choose to send. On the form that is your name, email address, company or brand, website or social link, the services you are interested in, a budget range and your message. Only name and email are required.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting and network providers record technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs keep the site running and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors.
What we do not collect. We do not use advertising pixels, analytics cookies, session recording or chat widgets. We do not knowingly collect information from children (see section 7).
2. How we use it
- To reply to your message or Snapshot request and discuss possible work.
- To deliver and manage a project, if you become a client.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not add you to a mailing list from the contact form. If we ever offer a newsletter, you will have to sign up for it separately, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
3. Who helps us handle it
We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and our email, and only for that purpose.
| Provider | What it does for us | What it can see |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website | Technical request data such as IP address and pages visited |
| Cloudflare | Domain name service, network delivery and security, and routing of email sent to @matovagroup.com addresses | Technical request data, and the emails you send us as they pass through |
| Google (Gmail) | Receives and stores the email you send us | The content of your emails and form messages |
| Resend | Sends contact form submissions to our inbox | What you enter in the form |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
4. How long we keep it
- Messages from people who do not become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement plus up to 7 years, for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
- Technical logs: kept by Vercel and Cloudflare for their standard periods, which are usually short.
5. Cookies
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to keep the site secure, such as blocking malicious traffic. These cannot be switched off because the site needs them to work safely. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Give you a copy of it.
Email ian@matovagroup.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information we are legally required to hold. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will honor those rights where they apply, and we will never treat you differently for using them.
7. Children
This site is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our email and accounts is protected. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
9. Visitors outside the United States
Matova is based in Arizona, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By contacting us, you understand your information will be handled there.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site.
